MYLF is a great program that helps people with disabilities to learn mo
re about other people with disabilities, as a community. It also helps you deal with your own disabilities by giving you news tools and technology. MYLF gave me a new found confidence. It gave me a huge boost in my self esteem. It truly is a great program. I liked it so much, I would be excited to come back as a staff member, if possible. My favorite part of the intensive 5-day training, was living in a college dorm with a roommate. My Personal Care Assistants were great, and they checked on me as often as I wanted. It helped me with the fear I had of living on my own, when I go to college. There were awesome staff and people who to provide you with tons of support. There were also amazing inspirational speakers.
